The Main Adventures: September 2012

Not much has been going on here lately except for packing boxes and trying to get everything organized to move. We are down to 11 days before the truck pulls in and hauls us away. We have taken time out to enjoy some of the fall time activities including the Center Grove Apple Orchard. Alexandria had way more fun this year. Kade took Brayton with so the two of them did their own thing. It was a beautiful day! Alexandria and I went up to Mom and Mike's for the ISU/Iowa football game mainly to get out of the house and so I could enjoy some adult company. They had a few of their friends over and we also got to eat some yummy food! Alexandria was all dolled up for the game in the ISU cheerleading outfit Grandma Hendricks gave her for her birthday. It must have worked too....way to go STATE!!!
Other stuff going on...I'm now 23 weeks pregnant and still feeling pretty good. Starting to get some more low back pain, but think it is due to work, lifting Alexandria and packing. We are getting anxious to meet the little guy! Heath has been getting over pneumonia for the past month. He is slowly getting better, but it is taking awhile. We are just glad he is starting to feel more like himself and get some quality sleep. Alexandria continues to keep us very busy and is learning new words everyday. There is really nothing she can't communicate now. If she doesn't know what something is, she just says "that". Otherwise she is putting sentences together and makes complete sense! She is growing up way too fast!
Well, that's about it for the Main Gang. We probably won't be updating the blog again until after we get all moved in. We'll have to post some new pics of the house and if you are in Ames...stop on by!
