Father's Day on the Farm

We spent our Father's Day on the farm (aka the zoo).  Sis went up the night before to stay with Grandpa and Grandma Winter then the rest of us joined after Heath woke up on Saturday.  It was such a beautiful day to be on the farm and play.  We got to meet, Kevin, Brandon and Jess' newest family member...a raccoon.  He is SO cute and playful.  It was fun watching him crawl up Brandon's leg and sit on top of his hat.  Sis was afraid to pet it at first but did get brave later on.  We also checked out the horses and fed them some corn.  Sis never did get too close to the horses. Uncle Brandon offered to give her a ride on one of them, but she refused.  The guys did some target shooting while I swung with Parker on the porch swing and Sis took a ride on the Gator with Grandpa, Grandma, and Casper.  It was a fun day had by all!

5 Months & Hubbard Days

Our little man is 5 months old already.  He is growing so fast and is need of his first haircut already...I just refuse to get it cut because then he will look even more like a little man.  Parker is starting to cut teeth and has been a little more cranky these days.  His bottom front right tooth poked through this week and I think it's pretty painful for him...poor thing.  He is also rolling all over the place and has even managed to get himself stuck underneath the coffee table.  He loves when Alexandria talks to him and plays with him, which is becoming more frequent.
A couple weekends ago I took the kids to Hubbard Days for the parade and activities.  There were a lot of kid games in the park after the parade.  I think Alexandria could've been entertained all afternoon but Parker was ready to leave after an hour or so.  We acquired a new family member, Nemo, a goldfish.  Alexandria named him and since we have gotten him a friend, Diego, also named by Sis.  We hung out at Mom and Mike's after the activities, ate lunch, and the kids had fun playing outside.

Catch up time

A lot of nothing going on here lately.  We are ALL getting sick of this rain...it needs to STOP!  We have tried to enjoy being outside whenever it is nice.  I took the kids to the Story City Carousel last weekend.  Sis really enjoyed it...I think she rode it 5 times.  The antique carousel turned 100 years old this year.  We had a good time!  We'll just do a picture "catch up" session.  Enjoy!
