Birthdays turned into a Zoo

August is always a crazy month for us with birthdays...but it's fun!!!  Alexandria turned 3, which just seems crazy!  She is growing up so fast.  We had her 3 year check today, so here are her stats: weight 28.6 lbs. (25th%ile) and height 3ft 1.5 in. (55th%ile).  She did very well with her vision screen, following directions, and answering all of Dr. Nau's questions.  We celebrated her birthday last weekend with a Dora party per Alexandria's request!  It was a perfect day and a fun time spent with family.  She received so many nice gifts and has been busy playing with all of her new toys since.
Devon turned the BIG 2-0 this month, which is also crazy!!  Some of the family pitched in and got him a BIG toolbox that he has been wanting.  He was bummin' after Alexandria's party (he mentioned not getting any gifts to his girlfriend on the way back from the party), so to say the least, he was quite surprised to see the toolbox waiting for him in the garage when the door lifted.
The next day we celebrated Jaxson turning 7 and Amisha turning 5 along with Steph and Matt's Wedding Celebration at my mom's house.  It was another beautiful and fun family day!!
I took this whole last week off to get caught up on stuff at home, have some personal time, and take Sis to the zoo.  She still wasn't feeling the best...she was getting over being sick on her birthday, but I think she still had some fun.  Her favorite part of the zoo was the carousel.  She also made friends with the baby camel...he was so cute and just loved Sis.  The wallabys were another favorite for all of us!

Big 7

Parker is 7 months old already and he is on the MOVE!  He is crawling, pulling himself up to furniture and starting to cruise.  His new interest is the fireplace...not good.  He definitely is all boy and will get to whatever he wants.  Sis will help keep an eye on him for me...sometimes.
Kade went to Riverside Bible Camp again this year and loved it...he was bummin' when he had to leave.  Sis got to go with Heath to drop him off and pick him up.  They always put on a little program on the last day, so she got to enjoy that.
I took a day off that Heath had off of work so we could take Alexandria to the Fair.  It was a great day!!  The weather was perfect and we got to see and do all the stuff we wanted to.  Sis' big highlight of the Fair was meeting Clifford.  We did that first so she was ready to leave right after.  :) We talked her into going and seeing the animals and to our amazement she showed her bravery and pet baby calves.  She also loved the Giant Slide...she giggled the whole way down while mommy screamed!

All jumped out.
