Stuff

We haven't been up to much lately...just waiting for the weather to get nice.  Parker is getting so big and is so in-love with his sissy.  He just lights up whenever he sees her and especially when she gives him attention.  She is becoming more loving and nurturing towards him...she likes to give him toys and also boss him around.  She continues to act like the Queen Bee and make sure I'm "taking care" of Parker in the right way.  Alexandria's new thing is to change her clothes 50 times a day and sometimes she just keeps layering her clothes.  One night I found her in bed with her jammies on along with the clothes that I had set out for her to wear the next day.  Tonight she is sleeping with her hoodie on over her jammies..."whatever" is all I have to say!  Parker has rolled over from his tummy to his back (according to Judy), but we haven't seen it yet.  I put him on his tummy tonight and had the video camera ready for about 15 min., but of course he didn't perform on command.  We are looking forward to this weekend and getting outside!  I've already been informed that we are going to the park...sounds good to me!!

3 months & more

Our little man is 3 months old already!  Time is flyin' by and he is changing so fast!  He has been trying to roll...he can get onto his left side but then stops.  I don't think it will be long before he makes the full 180.  Parker continues to be our little smiley guy...his smile just lights up his whole face and you can't help but melt whenever he gives it to you.  Alexandria is starting to play more with Parker, which is cute.  He just loves watching her and she likes that even though she acts like she doesn't.  We enjoyed having Grandma Renae and Papa Jon down twice this past week.  Alexandria kept Grandma very busy...but she managed to get some Parker cuddles in too!

After 2 visits in 1 week, Grandma finally got a break.

Easter!!!

Last week the kids and I went down to Des Moines to hang out with Steph, Holden, and Amisha.  We took the kids to visit the Easter Bunny and then ride the train.  It was so nice that day we took the kids to a park so they could run off their energy.  It was a perfect way to spend my last day at home.  I returned to work this past week full-time and it went well.  Parker is doing well at daycare and continues to be a very good baby and just a happy little dude!  Sis continues to surprise us with her new daily quotes (some of which I have NO idea where she gets them).
We celebrated Easter with Mom and Mike.  The kids and I went to church with mom Easter morning and then headed to their house.  We had a wonderful meal followed by a crazy Easter egg hunt.  Sis had some major competition since she was 2nd to the youngest, but had a lot of help from Kade, Aunt Wendy, and Aunt Jess.  She was so excited just to get 1 egg!  She had so much candy that day...it made bedtime a challenge!  It was a nice day, but we sure did miss daddy.  He was home sleeping after his work shift.  We hope you all had a wonderful Easter!!
