Mother's Day

It feels like Mother's Day has been forever ago.  I spent the day with the kids and that evening when Heath woke up, we went out for supper.  Sis got more spoiled than I did...she left La Fuente's with a balloon and a ring pop!  Not much else has been going on here...just busy with the day-to-day happenings.  Parker is getting more fun all the time.  He's getting really good with his hands, reaching for things and putting them in his mouth.  He is really starting to enjoy his ExerSaucer too!  Alexandria has started the "why?" stage...UGH!!!!!  She continues to be very curious and fearless, which is good and bad.  She is putting concepts together and talking liking she is 16 years old at times.  We continue to battle dressing appropriately for the occasion and weather.  She wants to dress like it's 20 below 0 when it's 80 degrees out, which includes 5 pairs of shorts underneath her 3 pairs of pants plus 4 shirts.  She has scaled back to only wearing 1 pair of socks.  I usually loose this battle, but have come to deal with it and just laugh.  That is one thing that I'm really starting to learn as a mom...ya gotta pick your battles!  Hope all you wonderful moms had a great Mother's Day!
