On December 31st, 2013 Devon and Breanna got married!! We gained a beautiful daughter-in-law both inside and outside. They had a wonderful wedding and very fun wedding reception. It was fun to be able to celebrate their wedding and New Year's Eve at the same time!! They got married at a very quaint country church just north of Ames. Kade was a groomsman, Alexandria was the flower girl, and Parker was the ring bearer. Everyone looked fabulous and did a good job! They had their wedding reception at 3M. Grandma Renae was so generous to stay at our house to take care of Parker after the wedding so we could enjoy the reception. We didn't know how long sis would last...I thought she would start slowin' down around 10 or so. Boy, was I wrong! She lasted until midnight and got to bring in the New Year with us! She loved the party blowers too. She was a dancin' machine and had a blast!!! She was the only little one there, but she hung with all the big kids well. She slept the next day until 11am!! Kade brought his girlfriend, Caitlin, along and they had fun dancing the night away too.
Devon and Breanna revealed the sex of the baby during the wedding reception in such a cute way. Devon made a box out of cardboard, painted it white and then put pink/blue polka dots all over it. Inside were balloons that popped out when they took the top off. As you will see below, they are having a boy!!! We are so excited and can't wait to meet our grandson! (Yes, that is very weird for me to say!) Jace Alexander will be arriving in April sometime.
